I am a ten year old Filipino boy who has cousins having a trip to the United States and today they are coming home at Philippines. I went to ask my mother “Are they coming home?” “Yes”, my mother replied. Later at night I slept and thought we were going to an amusement park, I imagined myself riding a roller coaster and my second thought was going to Hong Kong, riding a boat, but when I woke up in the morning and saw my mother packing swimsuits. “Mother, why are you packing swimsuits?” “We’re going to Isla Verde” “Mother, I thought were going to the amusement park” I complained “Son, you’ve got to accept that we’re not going there” Mother said. So we went to the airport and I greeted my cousins “Welcome back” “Thank you” my cousins said. So we hitched a ride in a via plane. “Okay, now we’re going to Isla Verde” father said, but I was still thinking about amusement parks and Hong Kong , but when father said “Everyone get out of the plane” “Why father?” I asked, “Because were going to that very large ship to our destination” Father replied, so he parked the car and we took a ride. I felt bored, so I took a notebook and pencil and drew the waves and the island until Bump! A loud noise freaked us out. I checked the window and saw ourselves at the coast of the island. We went out of the ship and Father took his car our of the ship too. We went swimming and diving, some tried snorkeling. My Father accidentally left the car keys in his swimming shorts my father dived Splash! The keys floated out of his pocket “Oh no, the keys” he yelled when a crab caught the keys and gave it to father. We were amazed on what the crab had done. Father happily replied to the crab “Thank you”, then the crab snapped his claws. Snap! As if he were saying “You’re Welcome”. Then we saw a park with horse rides we requested our parents “can we ride too” “Yes you may” all the parents said and we rode the horses and they took pictures of us, and we soon left the park.
Next we had a delicious feast, they were so delicious that I tried them all, and my uncle told us about their trip around the campfire. Later we went to a hotel and stayed for a month. It was fun at the hotel we told stories, watched TV, we even played games. A month later we’re going home and my friends are traveling to Cebu. At home, I had the most exciting thought of all, what could my next summer vacation be like. So I took my notebook again and drew what my summer would be like. But when I thought about the summer vacation I just had, I drew the story liked comic. My sister shouted “Dinnertime” and I went to the table and my mother and father came as well and I saw my plate and it was the delicious food I ate back at Isla Verde, and I saw another bag full of swimsuits I asked “why are there swimsuits in the bag” “We’re going to to a resort with your other cousins” Mother said. I felt tired from Isla Verde but I had few more energy to swim at the resort. When I went to bed, I thought of school, my new classmates and I found out I have to get through that before the next summer comes. At the resort, we had a splendid time and it was like Isla Verde and the lunch was like there to. I’m just happy that in this whole year, summer can stay with us, and when this summer ends, wait for the next one.
