Tiara Mukherjee

I am Tiara Mukherjee, an energetic eleven-year-old seventh grader from DPS International School, Singapore. Books have always been my best friends and it has been my forever dream to be a writer. I penned the story titled ‘The magic that this world needs’, a few months after I turned eleven.

The ‘Young Author Scheme’ couldn’t have arrived at a less opportune moment in my life. Intrigued I have always been by the way words could come into life, but that wasn’t enough. The desire of being on the printed side of a book, fascinated me.

Ms. Catherine Khoo, from ‘Janus Education Services’ and the ‘Singapore Book Council’ fulfilled my desire. Being an established author, educator, editor and publisher, she realised the dreams of young minds and gave them the platform of ‘Young Author Scheme’. Her vision to build the next generation of thinkers and writers is realised through this platform.

All while saving themselves from the ruthless gang, ‘The Syndicate’, who are after the flower to mint money out of the antidote.
