8:30am Meet at Serangoon Gardens Hawker Centre in front of Serangoon Garden Bakery & Confectionery
8:45am A Walking Tour of Heritage Journeys: No Place Like Serangoon Gardens
10:00am Let’s have morning tea. The menu includes Rolina’s Curry Puffs (featured in No Place Like Serangoon Gardens), one of Serangoon Garden’s must-eats!
10:30am Learn how to cook Chicken Rice by Pow Sing Restaurant (featured in No Place Like Serangoon Gardens. Pow Sing’s traditional Hainanese chicken rice has become a household name since the 1980s.
12:30pm Ooh! Time to savour my very own chicken rice!
