Biography
Zhang Wenjia
Zhang Wenjia was born in 2011. As a young girl, she took up writing as a hobby and gradually began to like it, aspiring to be an author. The Race Against Humans is her first book. She is the youngest in the family of four and enjoys making up scenarios from the stories she reads. The Race Against Humans was mainly inspired by Erin Hunter’s successful series of books, Warriors and Survivors, and books that elaborate on climate change and global warming, along with how humans pollute the natural environment.
Wenjia finds that Young Author Scheme, which teaches young children to harness the power of writing and rearing them up to become successful, prestigious writers is an engaging idea. Not only can children learn about writing, they will also learn to use their writing abilities to their advantage and compose stunning stories for their society. The Young Author Scheme has helped her tremendously in taking her first steps towards her goal and she is grateful to all who helped found it.
