Biography
Timothy Lagman
My name is Timothy and I wrote “The Burrow” when I was nine years old. I attend Anglo-Chinese School (Junior). I love hedgehogs as I find them extremely adorable. This is one of the reasons why I wrote “The Burrow”, which talks about natural animal instincts and the life of three hedgehogs with a bit of magic and fantasy thrown in! I was inspired to join the Young Author Scheme by my brother John who has written two books under YAS. I was thrilled to finally attend in November 2016.My love for writing comes from reading intriguing books and wanting to create my own fantasies. Personally, one of the books related to fantasy that I have recently read again is “The School For Good And Evil” by Soman Chainani. One of my all-time favourite story-tellers and producers is Disney. Disney has brought to life many wonderful stories and films that I have read and watched ever since I was a toddler. The reason that my story is based on animals is because of my love of nature and furry creatures. Along the YAS journey, I had the opportunity to write down all of my ideas and craft them into a story which I hope you will enjoy.
