Tan Zhi Ying
I love reading; and reading good books improves my vocabulary, my grammar skills, and thus my writing. The influence on me is subtle, yet powerful; I can feel it. Being in the Young Author Scheme (YAS) was really a fun, yet enriching experience. My YAS teacher has lifted my writing skills to a new level. Now I know that I can write, and write something that I’ve never thought I could. Now I know that writing is innovative, something boundless, something enjoyable, and something that allows me to express my imagination, my emotion, my feeling, and the me in me.
