Biography
Shuvan Sasidharan
My full name is Shuvan Sasidharan. My nickname is Junior. I am turning 13. I was born on June 2, 2003. I go to the American School of Bangkok.
I wrote the story ‘A Fantasy Trip’ when I was 8 years old in 2012. It was my hardest writing piece and it still is to this day. I’ve had quite a lot of hard pieces, but nothing harder. I took all my mistakes on that book, and used them to make better stories. I was very proud of myself when I completed the book. From that point onwards, I always got an A in writing.
Whenever I write an essay, I always look back at the point of time when I wrote that book. Those three weeks when I wrote that story changed my view on writing in general. I found writing generally easier. Now I use my writing skills to help with projects or essays. I get assigned a lot of writing in my class, and every time I have writing, I compare it to my book.
Surely my writing would have been of better quality now that I know more about writing, but I owe a huge part of my writing skill to the time I spent writing ‘A Fantasy Trip’.
