Oh Sheng Jun
Hello everyone. I am Oh Sheng Jun and am 12 years old this year. I am currently studying at Rulang Primary School. My favourite author is J.K. Rowling and I also like to read Chinese novels as well. I love music, so I’m in the Chinese Orchestra group and I play the pipa, as well as the piano.
Apart from reading, sometimes I write short stories during my leisure time, but have never considered my stories to be interesting or exciting. Imagine my surprise when I knew that I had been shortlisted in the competition. Since the prize giving ceremony, I am more motivated to read and write more, as I would like to write a bestselling novel one day when I grow up.
I have two elder brothers and I love them a lot. Both my parents are science teachers, which influence me in my love for science. Besides music and story writing, I am also interested in creating animation videos. It is my current dream and I hope that I will be able to pick up the technique of computer animation one day. It would be interesting to animate my life one day if possible.
