Biography
Mikhaela Borbe
I am a teen from the Philippines and enjoys writing short stories. I also dabble in other forms of art and go to school within the main region of my country. I think that the Young Author Awards is a pretty good opportunity for young writers to get their works out there, with their names attached. I started my love of writing when I was younger as a huge fan of classic fairytales. I wrote my own short story as early as when I was in second grade, nothing special, just a short story with grammar befitting of a grade schooler, but I was in love with the feeling. The freedom of creating your own world on paper, a harmonious symphony of symbolism and meaning written and printed into reality. A fantasy world brought to life on a simple sheet of paper.
