Writing? Pfft that’s like the thing writers do the least.
Sanity? On its last legs.
I’m Ee Sze Yun, aged 14 (which was also when I wrote Starsong) and studying at Kuen Cheng High School. An ultimate procrastinator and 24/7 fangirl, you will most likely find me bingeing books/manga/anime or screaming into my keyboard as I attempt to write (and fail).
To say I have a love-hate relationship with writing would be an understatement. I mean, I love writing, I really do, but at the same time it really just makes me want to tear my hair out and bang my head against the table, mostly because of my inability to finish anything without a deadline. The Young Author Scheme really helped with that part (though it was rather stressful), as within a space of ten days I had somehow managed to churn out an entire story when before it would have taken me months, something I’m really grateful for.
