Dia Menon
My name is Dia Menon. I am 13 years old and in Grade 8 at the Canadian International School. I am a big fan of reading, writing and listening to music and currently obsessed with watching crime dramas like FBI and Law & Order. I wrote the Picture Perfect Murder this year but came up with the idea when I was 12 and getting a haircut with my mum.
The Young Authors Scheme has been very helpful in getting me to focus and finish a story. I like writing down my ideas for stories in my journal but have not been able to expand them into completed works. I loved the course and enjoyed all the activities as it really fed my love for writing, my love for telling stories and sharing my ideas.
