Ayden Tang
Hi, I am Ayden Tang, a 12-year-old studying in Teck Ghee Primary School in Singapore. I wrote this story shortly after my 12th birthday. I like to play online games like Minecraft and Call of Duty. I also like to play Lego and train sets. In my free time, I also like to read. One of my favourite series is Percy Jackson.
I am very glad that I had the opportunity to attend the writing workshop conducted by Ms Catherine Khoo. During the workshop, I learnt new writing techniques and importance of planning. During this workshop, I was able to create my book, Dead of Night, under her guidance. The main character in the story was inspired by movies that I watched about Jackie Chan; specially Police Story.
The story is set in Hong Kong in the year 2016. There is terror running through the city and there are multiple attacks. The main character was an ex-soldier who has a special ability.
