Amira Hanna Mohd Nizamuddin
I am a girl from a small town by the sea. My life is simple and yet enriched from the books I read. When I am not reading, I am off on adventures with my noisy siblings and neighbours. Writing has always been my passion. However, I hadn’t been keen on showing my work to anyone because I never thought my stories were good enough. The Malaysian Young Author Award has motivated me to continue writing. When I was notified that my story was among the best 10, I instantly thought that I can do better and that my passion can be turned into a talent. Being one of the shortlisted 30 in the Asia Young Author Award was truly a surprise for me. I am very grateful because at least I’ve found the passion that I’ve always searched for.In years to come I hope I can use this talent not just for myself but also for the greater good of mankind.
