Zhu Rui Lin
Hi! I am Rui Lin and I’m 12 years old. I’m a bookworm and I love writing and reading. During my free time, I will going to the library and borrow books. I like to read fiction books and books about science. I enjoy reading Thea Stiliton and Percy Jackson books. I also enjoy reading about animals. Sometimes, I will also borrow Chinese books as I’m Chinese. I got my story idea from one of the stories from the Young Reader Club website called ‘Jade Pearl’s Story’. My story is about a girl named Jessica whose mother had died of a heart attack. Her father remarried and so Jessica had a stepmother. However, instead of being like Cinderella’s stepmother, Jessica’s stepmother is nice. But Jessica does not like her stepmother as she misses her real mother. As you can see, there is a slight twist in the story. I hope you will enjoy reading!

This story is about Jessica who had lost her mother. Her father married a nice woman but Jessica was mean to her because she missed her mother. When it was Jessica’s birthday, her stepmother gave her a present she loved! From then on, Jessica learned how to accept new and hard situations.
