Kylia Koh
Hi, my name is Kylia, and I’m 14 and three-quarters years old as of 17th May 2016. Like most young people, my favorite color is sky blue. I have a penchant for soft and silky things, pets, arts and crafts, and of course, writing. I seem to have had a love-hate relationship with writing ever since I was young, probably due to the number of books that I had fallen in love with and consumed. This interest includes poetry, prose (mainly fiction) and spoken word. I have always seen writing to be a personal space where I could unload all my emotions and well as troubles, and always seek to improve my far-from-perfect writing. It is my love for pretty words, metaphors, and languages in general that propels me towards wanting to find out more. Hence, I feel that that is the most important thing that one can possess: the passion and drive for continuous learning. Hence, the best advice that I can impart on anyone, however cliche it is, is to know what you truly enjoy doing, and put in your best effort to improve in that aspect.
