Biography
Huang Zimo
Hi everyone, my name is Huang Zimo and I am a 10 year old student from Admiralty Primary School. I’ve developed many various hobbies and sports in the past ten years, and I greatly enjoy doing them during my free time. My favorite hobby is reading, and my favorite books include Harry Potter and the Prisoner of Azkaban, Sky Song, and Keeper of the Lost Cities. I’m also a ferocious writer, and started writing several fantasy novels at a young age around 8 years old. I love to sketch on a digital notebook or notebook as well, and my favorite subjects to sketch about are the supernatural creatures found in Eternalia in Lilac Lake, or on my fluffy white rag doll cat and my puppy. Lilac Lake was written when I was 10 years old, and I considered it as one of my greatest masterpieces I’ve ever written. Once, I tried writing a series called Crystal Cats with some of my classmates, but after finishing the first book, I reread the story and found it disappointing, so I decided to discard my story idea. Lastly, a huge thank you is dedicated to my mother for introducing me to this fantastic competition! Young Author Scheme seems crucial to me, and as an avid reader, it is also important to learn about the procedure on how books are published and presented to the world.
