Navyasshrie Krishnasamy
Hello! My name is Navyasshrie. I am 14 this year and I’m from SMK Cyberjaya. This is my first story about murder in the Adventure and Mystery genre. I was inspired by the documentaries and film that link to adventure and murder investigation (something to do with blood and revenge); that made me bring those elements to my story.
The love that I have planted for my writing skills can never be expressed in mere words; it means so much to me. I was eager to learn more about writing and the Young Author’s Scheme has railed me to the gates of achievement and shined rays of writing styles for me to be absorbed. I had tremendous fun learning on knowledge and novel-writing skills from the Young Author scheme. I couldn’t believe myself when I saw my story written beautifully and exactly the way I have dreamt of. Usually, I tend to compare my stories with older students, because I am just 14 and I used to think that their writing might be extraordinary. But now, I stand upon my own story and feel satisfied, because what I have written is the best story so far since I started my writing journey. Not only that, but the Young Author’s Scheme even educated me to stand by our choices and that was when I quit the habit of comparing myself with others and changed my deportment into a strong one. I pen my heartfelt gratitude and respect to the Young Author’s Scheme for unleashing my talent and for every knowledge they have shared and even. Writing has always been my cup of coffee because it allows me to express my ideas, dreams and feelings with a purpose and it can never be caged.

The protagonist, Evelyn, goes to her grandma’s through a tunnel because of a voice. There, at dusk, everything turns upside down and everyone in that house is killed. Then, she appears in a different world, “YORKSTONE”. She was commanded to find the Guarding Stone in Planet Demon at the East of YorkStone, in order to save the people and bring their Planet into a lively planet. The people in the planet depends on her. Will she be able to do it and at the same time save the planet?
