Mirutica Rajesh Karthik
I am Mirutica Rajesh Karthik, studying in 9 grade IGCSE at Delhi Public School International Singapore (DPS). I am fourteen years old and this story was written after my birthday celebration. I love to read fictional novels and interested in writing different kinds of poems and short stories.
Regarding my experience in the Young Author Scheme, I am grateful and delighted to discover that even young authors like me can express my creativity and writing skills. I receive my primary inspiration from many authors like Cassandra Clare, Veronica Roth, Roald Dahl and JK Rowling. I spend most of my time reading and mulling over poems, songs and other works of art. I would to thank my family for their unwavering support throughout the course of this scheme. Writing helps me to turn my personality inti a tangible object, and also maybe inspire others around me like how they have invoked me.

A story of two boys, Brian and Isaac, with their fates interconnected so deeply. The past and present brewing a story of heroes and villains. Heart break, emptiness and urge to feel something, anything, left the boys wounded and helpless. A small mistake rolled around for years to utterly scar and break them. Brian tries to escape this hellish nightmare. His actions caused the death of another. Forced to face a reality without him, his mind becomes a prison.
