Nicole Sim Hui Jun
Hello! My name is Nicole Sim Hui Jun. I am from Bukit Panjang Primary School. This year, I will be turning 12. I was 11 when I wrote my story, ‘Now Till Forever’. I believe that all dogs deserve to be loved and cared for.
The Young Author’s Scheme has taught me an important lesson – to believe in myself. During the first few sessions of the Young Author’s Scheme, I did not believe that I could actually write a story of a few thousand words. The word ‘impossible’ seemed to ring in my mind as I tried to think of the possibilities. After writing the story ‘Now Till Forever’, I felt a wonderful sense of satisfaction. Despite the hectic school schedule and burning of midnight oil to submit the drafts on time on several occasions, I am proud to present to you my book, a fruition of my perseverance and love for writing.
