Zoe Sheh
I’m Zoe Sheh and I am eleven this year. I am at P5 student at MGS Primary.I was in Primary Four when I wrote my first book, True Colours. It is about a girl going into the future and upon seeing how her future self is like; she decides to change for the better. I developed my passion for writing by reading. I started off with reading simple storybooks. Progressively, I moved on to thicker books and now, I read novels too. My inspiration often comes from authors who can make a book so interesting that I can hardly put it down. I too wished that I can write my own book. Now, thanks to YAS and Ms Catherine Khoo, I have finally written my first book, ‘True Colours’. YAS has taught me how to improve and write exciting stories. For example, stories usually have a climax that makes it exciting and enjoyable. I truly enjoyed the sessions with Ms Khoo.
