Teresa Isabel ‘Issa’ Iyog
My name is Teresa Isabel Alabanza Iyog, but my nickname is Issa. I’m a 13 year-old gamer who is sort of tomboyish and loves cats. Although I want to become a comic artist, writing is still one of my favourite hobbies because it allows my imagination to run wild. My best friend is Sabine Guinto, and she inspires me to write as well. We even write stories together! When I write stories, they are usually surreal.
As an animal lover, I am strongly against animal abuse. That’s why I decided to write a story about it from an animal’s point of view. That part of my story about the lion and the leopard being trapped in the cage can happen in real life. It’s like a moving zoo where you pay to see caged animals! My story also informs people about animals having feelings, and that sometimes we end up killing their families. Kind of makes you want to think twice about buying that fluffy leopard skin mat, doesn’t it?
