Hi. I’m the pretentious teen who had the audacity to name her first book “Impending Disaster”. In my defence, I was 11 and it was a book about a cat and blind dog in a apocalyptic world. I thought I was a genius. Since then, what have I been doing? Sadly, I’ve taken a break from writing as I’ve been busy studying (procrastinating) and spending time with my two cats. I regret nothing. Sort of. I love my cats but I love writing too. I am working on a way to get into writing again. This book was a pivotal point for me as a budding writer. I gained so much from this. Before this book, I had zero writing experience. Now that I have gotten a taste of what it is like to publish a book, I hope to start writing more. I’m into humourous/non-fiction books (I strongly recommend Mindy Kaling)nowadays and my taste in books have since grown (hopefully), looking back at how much I loved the Warrior series by Erin Hunter as a pre-teen. I do want to start writing. But right now my cat looks especially fluffy and needs some love. I’ll be right back.

When disaster strikes, a family cat, Willow, is left behind. She is forced to survive without her beloved owner’s care. She then meets another pet, a canine named Oak. They begin to form a deep bond as they unite against the struggle to survive in the isolated city. Through a turmoil of trepidation, they soon realise that they only have two options: starve to death in the bleak conditions in the ruined city or abandon their home to venture into a forest where unknown dangers lurk at every corner. The pair of them will either triumph against all odds or perish in the impending disaster.
