Biography
Lucas Kua
My name is Lucas Kua, and I have been in love with writing since reading my first book when I was two years of age. My early years of primary school were littered with outlandish pieces of writing, including a poem concerning a journey of a bat, and a parody of Cinderella’s story, which I had written for an internal school competition. In 2011, I collaborated with my friend, Ashley Gor, to participate in another internal school writing competition. Our story, titled, “Forrendes of the Ice Bear”, won first place. In 2012, I was introduced to the Young Author Award, and I was given a chance to truly exercise my literary abilities with the story, “The Island’s Fortress”. Three years later, my writing journey has continued with Ashley, as we decided in 2015 to create an epic medieval fantasy that primarily takes place in the fictional lands of “Fleridane, Soverlyn and Cerastos”, a world constructed purely by ourselves, with detailed history and an extensive lore, characters that would be both endearing and cruel, our novel, “The Son of Cerastos”, has so far been a work in progress for months, and we hope to finish it by 2018.

As the number of small riots and attacks rise higher than ever, the authorities started to build an enormous bridge leading to the mainland, threatening to erupt in an incursion that could result in the loss of Ethan’s people.
