Zjayanhi Bte Johan Kang
A book continues even long after its conclusion. I remained deep in the pages of Dragon Apocalypse even though I had completed it two, three, four years ago. I could never forget the process, the memories, the dragons, such is the addictive nature of writing. It wrenches every single emotion from your soul and rips your heart from its ribcage, never leaving you the same again. I’ve dove headfirst into secondary school and it’s a huge pain. Never have I hated alphabets more than in Mathematics. Still, I always make time for writing. Of late, I have found myself writing more poems than stories. Writing, writing and writing some more. Words within various structures but still words nevertheless. I am pursuing writing more than ever and I would not have it any other way.
