Kera Ruth Yong
The Young Authors’ Scheme is brilliant because we get to write our own stories and we are given ample time to think of interesting ideas. I remember something my instructor said, “Everyone has the spirit of writing in them. You just have to find it and bring it out.” This encouraged me and I came up with plenty of ideas. I would write my drafts, send them to my instructor via email. She would edit it and send it back to me, but she would write comments on how to improve my writing skills. I really enjoyed the process of writing my first published book!
