Matthew Ng
I have truly enjoyed my journey under the Young Author’s Scheme. The course was interesting and the mentor was very helpful and encouraging.
I discovered a passion for writing and felt a great sense of achievement when I saw my published book. My creative juices were stimulated as I could wander into a world of make believe and not be told off by anyone…“Nonsense”! I loved to see how my story developed into chapters as my imagination went wild and I could actually imagine myself in the story.
There were times when I thought I could not write another word, but with the encouragement of my parents and after a gargantuan effort, my book was completed. I was amazed that I had written a book and was proud of myself.
I wished I was better at drawing as I don’t really like my cover page!
I strongly encourage you to attend the Young Author’s Scheme to pursue your passion for writing.
