Ever since I was a little girl, I had always loved to read. I would read while travelling in buses or even spend hours in the library finishing up short stories. My mum helped me by borrowing tons of books and I grew up reading all kinds of genres. One of my best friends also loved to read so she used to frequently recommend books to me.
After some time, I began choosing my own authors. I started off by picking up Agatha Christie’s books from my school library. After reading two of her books, I knew mystery was the genre for me. So I moved on to read novels by Dan Brown. When I went to the UK with my school, I saw books by Shakespeare and Picoult and I wanted to try my hand at writing as well.
But the truth is, I am not always a bookworm. I also love to play sports such as netball, badminton, and socce,r and I spent a lot of my doing so with my friends. So through my book, I hope to reach out to all those teenagers who are like me, who love to read and engage themselves in their favourite sport.
