Nur Aminah Hessa Binti Mohd Ashik
I am a 15-year-old teenager called Aminah. I’m currently studying at SMK King George V. During my childhood, books were always my prime companion. From that point onwards, I have grown to write and create, to conceive tales from my own imaginings. This ability allowed me to express myself and has always brought a smile to my face.
I’ve written a few short stories before, but this is my first time entering the Young Author Scheme workshop cum competition. It is a brilliant program, hosted to expand the talents of many young children aspiring to create and invent. This program provides not only opportunity, but exposure to the sublime realm of literature. By virtue of the Young Author Scheme, countless innovative minds have been able to contrive a product of their own vision, increasing imaginative abilities and faculties. I hope that The Young Author Scheme will be a source of pride and assistance to others, as it was for me.
