Hello everyone, my name is Shivani. Being the youngest in the family, my desires are always fulfilled and I am always showered with toys, gadgets and unconditional love and affection. The only difference between me and my cousins is that I am much more sanguine, cheerful and vibrant. Whoever rings the doorbell and steps into my house, will always be greeted by my twinkling eyes and a glee on my face. My hobbies are dancing, listening to songs and traveling to other countries, though I have only been to Malaysia and India! I am a conscientious person and a jokester in my family

I wrote this book as I was inspired by one of my mother’s favourite midnight stories. She used to tell me a story that was similar to what I have wrote, but the only difference was that in her story, there were kings and queens substituting the devil.
I like writing since I was seven years old. Writing has become a daily part of my life. It has worked a lot for me and my English compositions. Working with the Young Author Scheme (YAS), I have made many improvements in my English Language. Writing is important for me as it helps me to express myself as a person and promotes my ability to pose worthwhile questions. Writing is an essential job skill as well.
