Heya! I am Shania Marie Matris, a 17-year old aspiring author who currently studies at Madre Maria Pia Notari School. I love creating adventures and either write or draw about them and see the magic fully unfold. I was 16 when I wrote “Ophir: Child of Levant”.

The Young Author Scheme has helped me improve in my writing, and has given me the opportunity to express my creativity to the masses. The activities are very fun and educating, and they will give you good pointers on writing your own breathtaking story, and boosten your imagination and vocabulary. Writing has always been one of my escapes from life’s difficulties. Within the depths of my mind, I would create fantastic and adventurous worlds to be in, and interact with my characters like they’re my friends because to me, that is where I am truly happy.
