After attending the YAS course and wrote the story ‘Band of Brothers’, I found the joy and fun in writing. Now, writing is another tool for me to express my feelings or share my feelings for others.

Before, I found writing compositions a chore and a waste of time, where I need to think of ways to ensure that my teacher enjoyed and understood the ideas that I wants to put across. But now, I see it as a process and a way to pen down my ideas into a story that people will enjoy and appreciate.

Currently, I am writing bits and pieces of what motivate and inspire me as a person. I hope that I can compile them and share them with others. I also hope that stories that I share will change people’s perspective towards writing and that they will find time to value the joy in reading and writing.

I believe that ‘a professional writer is an amateur who didn’t quit’, as said by Richard Bach. I am sure that this will be a stepping stone for me to soar further as a writer.
