Born in 2006, nice to meet you, my name is Lau Han Ning. A student of Chung Ling Private High School, as of 2021, I am 15 years old. Us Against the World was written the same year, when I joined the 2021 Malaysian Young Author Awards.

This is my first year joining the Young Author Scheme, and I’ve learned a lot from Ms Catherine. My love for writing began in 2017, I think? I’ve always been an avid reader, but not so much a writer. A close friend of mine introduced me to writing. They love to write fan fictions, and I decided to try my hand at it. And now, here I am. I have at least 3 WIPs sitting in my Google Drive collecting artificial technological dust, but I keep procrastinating. Oh well, at least I finished Us Against the World, so that’s great!
