My name is Gwyneth Low. I’m fifteen years old and am currently attending Chung Cheng High Main School. I’m passionate about writing, media, sports and art; I love watching movies and am especially obsessed with the Game Of Thrones and X-Men franchise. TV shows and movies have always left a long-lasting impact on me long after I leave the theatre; the next days are typically spent drawing the characters, writing fanfiction as well as writing my favourite scenes in screenplay format. It deeply intrigues me how stationary words can bring the story it tells to life – and how under every single word; there is an ambiguity hidden beneath its depths, waiting to be sought out by us, waiting to be heard by us, waiting to be understood by us. This has inspired me to create stories of my own, hence I hope to be a TV presenter and a screenwriter. The book I have written four years ago is entitled “The Life In The Old Castle,” – looking back, I admit that I’m slightly embarrassed by it, but thankfully my writing has matured. Nevertheless, it will forever be my stepping stones towards writing; the start of my writing journey.
