I am Elizabeth Lu Yi Rong. I’m from Raffles Girls’ Primary School. I have a love for writing and love reading books too. The Young Author Scheme gave me a big surprise this year. I had never imagined I could write my very first storybook when I am only 10 years old. I had a wonderful journey with MsCatherine Khoo who opened a whole new world for me. With her guidance I have learnt how to express my ideas in words, not only a composition but a book which can be good enough to be published.It was amazing! Crafting a 3000-5000 words story is challenging, but I made it. To all my friends, never refuse a challenge, give yourself an opportunity to make your dream come true.
