I love eating home-cooked food, especially my grandmother’s. I am amazed by how she manages to whip up such delicious food with just simple ingredients! I found out more about 红烧肉 (Braised Pork Belly), one of my family’s favourite traditional foods, which I wrote about in this book. A Simple Grain of Wheat’s Life Story was inspired by Charlotte’s Web, about a family’s love for each other. I enjoyed writing this book and hopefully you will enjoy reading it too!
